Centennial House - 1812 McBride Avenue

Centennial House, this house was built as a cooperative effort between St. Catharine-St. Margaret Parish in Spring Lake, and Coastal Habitat for Humanity. The official groundbreaking ceremony was in October 2002. This joint effort was the first of its kind being undertaken by Coastal Habitat and a single church community. However, since this effort began several other community-minded organizations have expressed interest in making a similar commitment to build a house with Habitat. The construction work on Centennial House was completed in November 2003. More than 500 members of the St. Catharine-St. Margaret Parish helped build the Centennial House. The house was dedicated on December 6, 2003.
