Operation Westside - October 23, 2010
On October 23rd, several students from Communications High School in Wall,
volunteered to assist on our Asbury Park new home construction project. Their
efforts show how one person's efforts can really make a difference!

Operation Westside - October 20, 2010
Installation of siding on the first of four houses being built as part of
Operation Westside was done on October 20th. This completes the outdoor work on
the house at 36 Borden Avenue and work will now continue indoors.

For the 2nd year in a row, representatives of the VOICES group from UMDNJ
volunteered and also supported the CHFH mission with their generous financial
contributions. This year they were busy installing the windows and doors, and
wrapping the house with TYVEK on October 16th.

Amazing progress is being made on the first of 4 houses Coastal Habitat
for Humanity is building in Asbury Park. This one, the first to be constructed,
is located at 36 Borden Ave and thanks to our many hard working volunteers will
soon be a home to our next deserving family.

A team of volunteers from Whole Foods worked tirelessly on September 29th,
helping to cut out the window openings on the house at 36 Borden Avenue. Their
enthusiasm and energy demonstrated that the quality of their food products is
surpassed only by the quality of their employees!
