Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals recognizes charity’s “Repair. Rebuild. Restore.” Superstorm Sandy 5th Anniversary video

Video wins two awards to-date in 2017

April 20, 2017, Spring Lake Heights, NJ  –  Hermes Creative Awards announced today Coastal Habitat for Humanity is a gold award winner for the organization's short-form educational video, “Repair. Rebuild. Restore. Superstorm Sandy 5th Anniversary,” produced by VIRGILIO.media.

The video also won a 2017 bronze Telly Award for best digital marketing.

“As with everything we do, our goal with the video was to build awareness about the need for safe, affordable housing and the positive impact it has on local families and neighborhoods,” said Maureen Mulligan, executive director, Coastal Habitat.  “Sandy may be history to many but not to our organization, its volunteers and partner homeowners.  As we approach the 5th Anniversary of the storm in 2017, winning this and the Telly Award are great recognitions.”

More than 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and numerous other countries entered the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals' 2017 Hermes Creative Awards competition.  Entrants are judged by industry professionals that look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
