Faith Partnering - one of the main objectives of Coastal Habitat is to successfully partner with neighboring churches. Our goal is to involve an expanding number of churches in the ministry of Habitat for Humanity. We believe that we offer a unique opportunity for churches to experience their faith in new and exciting ways. They can see their ministry come alive when they reach out with us into the community. Partnering with churches can involve a number of phases or stages. The first is an introductory phase which involves some or all of the following:

A second method of partnering is through Sponsorship or Co-Sponsorship. Here a congregation, either independently, or working together with other congregations, would raise money and provide the labor to build an entire home. A third approach is partial sponsorship where a church would provide funding and/or labor for a specific part of construction. For example, a congregation might provide all the funding for a roof, or purchase all the supplies and paint the interior of the house.

Church Partnering is really "Faith Building," in that it provides a vehicle for a congregation to live out its faith through building a home for someone in need. For further information about this exciting opportunity, contact us at 732-974-2422.
