“True riches come from a life of service...” - Millard Fuller, Founder of Habitat For Humanity

Coastal Habitat for Humanity has sustained its mission by partnering with families and the individuals and businesses of our surrounding community. Donations and volunteer labor allow us to sell decent homes with a zero percent interest mortgage to working families in need. Their mortgage payments go directly to the Habitat Fund, enabling the construction of future affordable housing for other families. By becoming a corporate partner of CHFH, you are joining hands with the community of your service area to positively impact Monmouth County.
Our corporate partners reap the benefits of Coastal Habitat for Humanity brand association. Many companies return year after year to use our Corporate Build Days as philanthropic team building exercises for their employees. We also seek to partner with organizations related to home construction who are willing to donate their professional services to aid in our mission.

Corporate Build Days

Sponsor your employees to volunteer with Coastal Habitat for a day. We offer groups the opportunity to work on a new construction site or on an A Brush With Kindness project. Working on a Habitat site will challenge your employees to trust one another, to break down barriers, and to learn new ways of relating to one another. Your staff will learn valuable planning and teamwork skills. Your company may even wish to use this experience to augment your corporate leadership and team-building activities. We are confident that your participation will in fact prove so valuable that you and your employees will be eager to come back for more!

A senior management or other small group day generally involves about eight participants and a contribution of $2,500 toward materials. A larger group of 25 volunteers for a day would require a contribution of $5,000. You provide the labor and the funding; Habitat provides all building materials, tools and safety equipment, as well as training and supervision.

Volunteers come from all walks of life and do not need any building experience. All projects and volunteers on site are supervised by Habitat personnel.
