Come join Coastal Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, May 13th from 9am to 3 pm for Women Build, where women from all walks of life come together to learn new skills and to help those in need. Last year's one-day build saw record attendance.
The organization’s 10th Women Build's goal is to complete repairs to the home of the Missionaries of Charity in Asbury Park. Volunteers will be cleaning the outside gardens, mulching, planting flowers and shrubs, and painting. This year’s project leader, Barbara Macera, as well as an experienced construction crew will be on site to provide guidance and assistance.
To help offset the costs of this project, the organization requests a day-of $15 participation donation from each volunteer, which includes the cost of lunch.
No prior experience is needed and all are encouraged to sign up early, as spots are limited. There will be two training sessions prior to Women Build held on Saturday, April 29th from 9 to 11 am and on Thursday, May 4th from 6 to 8 pm at the Lowes in Eatontown. Please register today by emailing staff@coastalhabitat.org.
